Is Jesus' Return Imminent?

Here's a word of encouragement for all the hard-working Christian evangelists laboring day in and day out in these debate groups, FaceBook Ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ:

Do you remember what Jesus said in Matthew 24:14?

"This good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed in all the world as a testimony to all nations. And then the end will come."

I spoke to a missions minister about a year ago and he gave me an update on what's happening in the global missions field

He told me that there used to be 5,800 unreached people groups all over the world who had not yet had the Gospel proclaimed to them

But "As of this time, he said,

The number of unreached people groups who have not yet heard the Gospel is now down to...

  1,200!"

So what Christian missions groups are now doing is banding together and working hand in hand to reach the remaining 1,200 groups...

they are working together to reach the lost.

  Hallelujah!!!

Next, I heard these stats on a Michael Brown podcast and found the numbers online.

"It is estimated that by the end of the 1st century, [there was] 1 follower of Yeshua to 360 non-Christians."

By the end of the 1st century, only John was still alive of Jesus' 12 apostles as the rest had been killed for preaching His Word. But the Gospel was already going out all over the world. Just as Jesus had promised, there was going to be absolutely no way to stop it

By 1430AD, the ratio was 1 Christian to every 99 non-Christians

By 1794, there was 1 Christian to every 49 non-Christians

By 1940, the number was 1 Christian to every 32 non-Christians

By 1960, it was 1 Christian to every 24 non-Christians

By 1989, the ratio was 1 Christian to every 10 non-Christians

Just 24 years later, in 2013, it is estimated that there is now 1 Christian to every 6 non-Christians

If you count professing Christians, then 1 in every 3 people says he/she is a follower of Jesus

Where missionaries cannot go, Jesus Himself is showing up

In all of history, we have never come this close to seeing the Gospel preached in all the world

We are that close to seeing the fulfillment of yet another of Jesus' prophecies about the Last Days

  Jesus is coming SOON!

Even more good news that begins to explain how this is all happening:

Entire villages of Muslims and other non-Christians have THE SAME DREAM on one night in which Jesus appears to them, and they all get saved not long after when a missionary comes along with a Bible or Bibles and confirms what they had dreamt

And then there is the story -- and there are many just like it -- of 2 Christians who try to share the Gospel with Muslims all day in a bustling Muslim city, but they fail... fail... FAIL. Then they get into a cab to go home and share the Gospel with the cab driver, and he gives his heart to Jesus as a result. He asks them, "So what do I do now?" And they tell him, "Go and tell your family the Good News." And he does.

The next time they hear from him, he's asking, "What do I do now?"

He was asking because the salvation of that one cab driver had now led to 8,000 more souls who had come to Jesus

God is watching over His Word to fulfill it!

And finally, mission organizations used to think that about 10% of the total Chinese population of 1.3 billion is Christian. But because they now realize that their figures were far too conservative, they have adjusted that figure upwards to between 25-30% of all mainland Chinese

If that figure is correct, then that means that there could now be more Christians in China than there are Americans living in the US

  So keep preaching that Gospel...

"Proclaim the message; persist in it whether convenient or not; rebuke, correct, and encourage with great patience and teaching." 2 Timothy 4:2

And remember the words of our Savior and Lord, King Jesus...

"... when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near." Luke 21:28
