Jesus Visits Paul in Prison

If Jesus isn't God, how was He able to stand beside Paul and encourage him at a time when Paul was enduring great persecution for preaching the Gospel?

And this, about 28 years after Jesus' crucifixion, death, resurrection and ascension into heaven.

"The following night, the Lord stood by [Paul] and said, “Have courage! For as you have testified about Me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome.” Acts 23:11

By the way, this is the same Lord Jesus Who had chosen Paul and told Ananias more than two decades earlier,

11 The Lord said, “Go over to Straight Street, to the house of Judas. When you get there, ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul. He is praying to me right now.

12 I have shown him a vision of a man named Ananias coming in and laying hands on him so he can see again.”

     ...

15 But the Lord said, “Go, for Saul is my chosen instrument to take my message to the Gentiles and to kings, as well as to the people of Israel.

16 And I will show him how much he must suffer for my name’s sake.” Acts 9

Paul lived another 9 years before his martyrdom for the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. And his life was exactly as Jesus had told him it would be: he suffered much for his Lord.

2 Corinthians 11

24 "Five times I received 39 lashes from Jews.

25  Three times I was beaten with rods by the Romans.
Once I was stoned by my enemies.
      Three times I was shipwrecked.
I have spent a night and a day
      in the open sea.

26  On frequent journeys, I faced
      dangers from rivers,
      dangers from robbers,
      dangers from my own people,
      dangers from the Gentiles,
      dangers in the city,
      dangers in the open country,
      dangers on the sea,
      and dangers among false brothers;

27  labor and hardship,
many sleepless nights, hunger and thirst,
often without food, cold, and lacking clothing."

So let us ask the question again: if Jesus isn't God, how was He able to appear to Paul as Paul was on the road to Damascus about 2 years after Jesus' crucifixion, death, resurrection and return to heaven? (Acts 9)

If Jesus isn't God, how did He know that Paul was praying and to Whom? (Acts 9)

If Jesus isn't God, how did He reappear to Paul about a quarter of a century later to encourage Paul in his work and tell him where he would  be going next? (Acts 23)

  The answer is obvious...
