Jesus is No Liar

  Jesus is no liar.

When He says in John 6:35,

“I am the bread of life... No one who comes to Me will ever be hungry, and no one who believes in Me will ever be thirsty again,"

He means it.

When He says in John 8:12,

“I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows Me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life,”

He's not fooling around.

When He says in John 10:9,

"I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved and will come in and go out and find pasture,"

you will.

When He says in John 10:11,

“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep,"

know that He did just that. For you.

When He says in John 11:25,

“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me, even if he dies, will live,"

you can take that to the bank.

When He says in John 14:6,

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me,"

you can believe it with all of your heart.

When He says in John 15:1,

“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vineyard keeper,"

He expects you to listen.

When in John 8:58, Jesus declares,

“I assure you: Before Abraham was, I am,”

He was saying, "I Am Yahweh, the God of all Creation, come down to earth to save your soul."

When He says in John 8:24,

"... if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins,”

He isn't kidding. He doesn't want you to suffer for eternity.

The heavens did not announce His birth for nothing.

He was not born of a virgin for nothing.

He did not calm the seas for nothing.

He did not walk on the water for nothing.

He did not heal all who came to Him for nothing.

He did not raise the dead for nothing.

He did not endure a cruel scourging for nothing.

He did not endure a humiliating death on a cross for nothing.

The earth did not quake at His death for nothing.

The heavens did not darken at His death for nothing.

The Temple curtain was not ripped in two at His death for nothing.

The dead did not rise from their graves at His resurrection for nothing.

He did not raise Himself from the dead for nothing.

No, He did all that for you.

He did it to show you that He has the power over life and death.

He did it so you would see how much He was willing to go through for you to be restored to God in a loving and personal relationship.

He did it so that you could have the peace that the world will never understand.

He did that so that you would see that He is God.

So that your eyes might be opened to the truth that He is..

exactly Who He says He is.

  Jesus is no liar.

  As the Word says,
"Even if everyone else is a liar, God is true." Romans 3:4 NLT

  Believe Him.

  Your eternity depends on it.
